UX Magazine can be made mandatory

Samsung could use the feature of UX Magazine and related applications

Surprising news shared by our colleagues androidsis although we had breakfast, and even more after the recent news that told us about an agreement between Google plus and Samsung, so that the latter reduced its position regarding the customization of its terminals.

UX Magazine means that a new interfaz that appeared in the new Samsung tabletas and spread its threat to all end devices All traces of TouchWiz were erased in one fell swoop.

The problem It seems that UX magazine will be preinstalled by default on the new tabletas prepared by Samsung like the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, 10.1 and 12.2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 preparing to arrive on more devices. Just like that It would be impossible for Samsung to disable itand thus consume system resources, which in principle dominantly collides with the agreement apparently reached between the two Android giants.

Is it a step backwards from Samsung?

Let’s remember that a few minutes ago we talked about the launch of Google plus Now Launcher on other terminals and how effective and functional this application launcher is. versus, custom shifts are hampering the performance of our terminalwith honorable exceptions like Sense 5.5. The clearest example is two terminal twins like the Google plus Nexus 5 and the LG G2the former running a thousand times smoother than the latter with the same aplicaciones loaded.

In the case of Samsung, we’ve seen how its terminals require a huge amount of RAM to move its custom layer and we considered, for example, the 3 GB of RAM of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or the 4 GB for the Samsung Galaxy S5. A despiadado amount of RAM is necessary to run a system that runs much smoother without this level of customization.

agregado Samsungin this way to force users to use the UX Magazine, since the application as well as the related applications must always be running in our terminal, which would generally provoke a contrary opinion in the usuario base that they could choose other, less intrusive solutions.

At the same time Customization would bring back the question of the Atom on Android, which is so annoying, with too many versions and problems when the brands update the terminals. Problems ranging from the abandonment of the terminal with few updates, as Sony did, to catastrophic updates, as carried out vía OTA on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

WhatWhat do you think of this transfer from Samsun once it’s finally done?? WhatDo you like custom layers or do you prefer manufacturers to give users more freedom of choice??
