Podcasts are a strong bet within Spotify and this is perhaps a good example of why.
Lately we’ve seen the number of podcasts rise like foam. Our faster pace of life and lack of desire to rely on the “here and now” has led to the emergence of formats that allow us to choose when to enjoy content beyond movies and series and in . Podcasts have gained followers.
Spotify is one of the platforms that has seen this trend and has shown it most clearly with tangible investments. In fact, for two years The company has bought several podcast productions famous and recommends its users to listen to podcasts and not just songs.
Well, the latest Spotify podcast marriage news might come in the form of Subscription only for podcasts. There is currently no official confirmation, but there are at least clear indications. Spotify has a big iniciativa in connection with this audiovisual content format. Let’s go into detail.
Podcast Usuario Surveys
Diversity President Andrew Wallestein shared on Twitter what could be a huge scoop. After Screenshots he posted himself Spotify is launched on the little bird’s popular network random surveys of its users with podcasts as protagonists.
From the questions it cánido be guessed that the music service would consider sending up to four different monthly plans just for podcasts, which would range in price from $3 to $8.

The main differences would be Insert small ads in the exclusive content of the original plan (we suspect fewer than they currently espectáculo) or early access and no ads on the most expensive plan.
In the same polls shared by Wallestein, there is no compatibility whatsoever with existing Spotify subscriptions, a feature he didn’t like and certainly won’t do for existing Spotify subscribers.
