A future WhatsApp update will introduce waiting lists in conversations
Maybe next time you try to login WhatsApp group You may have to wait a while for one of the admins to approve you. At least that’s the latest feature spotted by the folks at WABetaInfo by checking the code for one of the latest versions of the messaging aplicación.
And that said, everything seems to indicate that the option will be included in one of the aplicación’s next updates manually approve new participants to access a group. A kind of waiting list that admins must review them before users perro join a group chat.
Administrators perro control who joins a WhatsApp group
Thanks to the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, we know that The option to manually admit new participants perro be enabled or disabledand that it will not be a mandatory option for groups.
If it’s enabled and a WhatsApp usuario tries to access a group, they’ll see a notification A chat admin must approve your request before you perro chat with other members.
If this request is approved, the usuario becomes a member of the group. Otherwise you cannot access it.
This function is in the Version 2.22.18.9 of WhatsApp Beta, but at the moment it is not available for users of the application. And that means it is currently in the development phase and not ready to be implemented worldwide.
However, it probably won’t be too long before the application reaches and becomes available to everyone. If you don’t want to miss this news (or any other news), all you have to do is make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of WhatsApp.
