Do you own one of these OnePlus phones? You already know when you will get Android 12 with the new OxygenOS 12 series.
Shortly after the official arrival of Android 12 for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, the brand wanted to announce its plans to update the rest of the models in its catalogue.
OxygenOS 12 is the new version of the branding layer, based on Android 12 and using ColorOS 12 code as a platform. Gradually, the update will reach a large number of branded devices, including high-end models and models from the OnePlus Nord family.
Android 12 is coming to 13 different OnePlus devices
As stated by OnePlus itself in one of the his official forum threadsOxygenOS 12 will be available in a total of 13 different phonesincluding OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, which have already received the update.
All other models it will be updated in the first half of next year 2022and among the selected models we see the following:
OxygenOS 12 key features include a renewed aesthetics with new icons and additional custom settings. It also introduces major changes to some of the preinstalled aplicaciones, such as: Gallery aplicación or launcher. Of the latter, we must highlight the new “Shelf” panel.
Many of the changes make OxygenOS 12 even more afín to ColorOS 12, and much of the fácil foundation that OnePlus’ mobile programa is known for has been lost so far.
