HTC U (Ocean), the actual successor to the HTC 10, is coming this year

HTC hasn’t changed in the last few years. Since their sale some time ago the Taiwanese company doesn’t raise its head, although frankly they don’t try much either. The latest proof of that is the HTC U Ultra, the manufacturer’s latest attempt at producing something of value. Unfortunately, most reviews tend to have a different opinion.

And that’s exactly what the HTC U Ultra is a device that has good intentions but fails miserably in every way. Luckily, hope is the last thing that dies, and HTC knows a lot about it. With the next flagship of 2017, the HTC U, also known as HTC Ocean, the company has a new oportunidad to undo all the mistakes of the past.

HTC U, the latest work from HTC or more to come later?

About the phone arena we could have a look the first real picture of what could be the manufacturer’s real flagship phone for this year, the HTC U. Apparently the phone would inherit much of the design philosophy of its older brother, the HTC U Ultra. The aesthetics of the refined terminal perro be summed up in “shiny surfaces and rounded edges”.

According to the information of the well-known @evleaks, The HTC U has a 5.5 inch screen with QHD resolution, which would put him at the level of his competitors this year. Under the hood and take care of all the pixels we would need to move the Snapdragon 835 combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB Internal memory.

The photographic segment would consist of a A 12MP rear camera and a stunning 16MP front camera. If the leak is correct, the HTC U would have touch-sensitive bezels, which we’ll eventually call Edge Sense. This feature is activated by a hard press or by sliding your fingers over the edges of the phone.

But still that way there is no information on the official presentation dateIt seems that we are before the real heir of the HTC 10. We’ll keep you posted as new leaks surface.

What do you think of the HTC U’s looks?
