And that means the company announced that it plans to lay off a significant number of workers, almost one in four. And that, once again, could orinan the beginning of the end for the company. What do you think?
HTC laid off nearly 22% of its employees
The Taiwanese company has been in a doldrums for a few years and despite producing excellent handsets like the HTC U12+ This doesn’t lead to sales, which is what eventually drives them.
And it seems that HTC is in a position right now where workers will — once again — pay for the company’s poor results 1,500 HTC employees will lose their jobs, especially those related to the manufacturing division in Taiwan.

And this time, it’s not about a sale or mutually beneficial arrangement, as was the case when the employees in charge of the pixels were transferred to Google plus, but instead. These are permanent layoffs, as many as 22% of HTC’s total workforce.
The company’s situation is becoming increasingly worrying and does not appear to be improving in the short term ie although we would like to see Taiwan in good shape again. How do you think HTC will face the end of the year?
