Everything seems to indicate that Nothing is preparing to launch a sub-brand that will be limited to wireless headphones, at least for now.
Last October we tested the Nothing Phone (1), one of the most promising other terminals. With this phone, the company of Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, wanted to revolutionize the industry by trying to deliver a revolutionary device. Unfortunately, the attempt remained at half throttle: the terminal fits, but it doesn’t revolutionize anything.
After this incident with his first mobile phone, a a sub-brand called Particles by XOlike Collection from 91Mobiles. The leak comes from tipster Kuba Wojciechowski and apparently this name appears in a firmware revealing that the company behind this brand is Nothing.
A name and some rendering, nothing more for now
Next to the leak Playback from wireless headphones and certification that Particles by XO is a registered trademark in the United States. That happens right under the Headphones heading, but from here the information gets a little vague.
The publication says yes the name is still unclear this headphone; It’s not known if they’ll be called XO to dry, or carry the full brand name. From what cánido be seen in the renders, the design of these headphones is reminiscent of a peanut and is a bit reminiscent of the Sony LinkBuds.
The headphones feature an in-ear design with silicone connectors for a better fit on the ear. And rather than following the “downtrend” of most current designs, these headphones sit with the body up. The design is minimalist, but not transparent like the Nothing Ear (1). There is also a box in the pictures that would act as a charger.
Another detail linked to the leak is that it is used active noise cancellation and low latency codec. For the rest, it is suggested that these headphones perro be aimed at the public more interested in fashion. Not much more is known as of now, but we’ll be on the lookout for any news.
