A new TikTok-style vertical vídeo format is coming to Spotify.
Few platforms could resist the temptation short and vertical vídeos. Netflix was experimenting with such a system back in the day, and YouTube had its “shorts” not long ago.
From time to time, platforms that seem to have little to do with vídeo also equipo this trend. The end? Spotify.
Vertical vídeos are coming to Spotify, first in iOS beta
As he found out Chris MessinaInventor of the “hashtag”, the music platform is experimenting with a new feature called the end.
This new feature appears in the bottom shortcut bar of the mobile aplicación –from iOS–, and vía which access to a life vídeos vertically.
The vídeos in question come from the “Canvas” function available to artists, so in most cases we find clips clips showing some of the vídeo clips of the songs, art performances or parts of concerts.

for now The function is in the test phase and is only accessible to Spotify users who have installed the beta version of the iOS aplicación, available through the TestFlight tool. At the moment it is not clear if it will eventually reach the stable version of the aplicación. But if it does, we perro assume that sooner or later it will come to the version of Spotify for Android.
